Cinque Ports vs Gillingham Town FC

Match Report

Another long trek this week but this time to Deal.

We started well but had to be patient, knocking the ball round really well keeping possession and looking after the ball.

After creating some half chances our patience paid off on the 35th minute from a quick corner from Ernst Stuurman was toe poked home by Man Of The Match for us Vitor Razera.

A few minutes later the ball dropped to Jamie Graham on the edge of the box Jamie shifted the ball onto his left foot and curled the ball into the top corner for his third goal in the opening three Matches.

The half time score was 0-2 to Gillingham Town FC, and the message was to keep going as there was more in thsi game for us.

The third goal was assisted by Vitor Razera after some really good foot work put Ruan Kaufmann through who dispatched into the far corner.

We kept pushing and the patience build up delivered the fourth goal which was scored by Justino Freza, who’s in fine goal scoring form, after some more great foot work by the Man of The Match Vitor Razera, who beat a few players and dinked the ball to the far post for Justino finished.

All in all it was a brilliant performance and well worth the three points. We go again next Saturday in our first home game of the season against West Kingsdown.
